I know I know I know... I am the only person in the world who liked the Applebee's in Brunswick I'm aware of that but I kinda grew up with that place. Kinda. Spent my college years at the Altama Connector restaurant. Does that count?

Is there anyone out here who has information regarding Applebee's and their (permanent!) closings that will happen in 2020? I'm wondering how many will be closing in Illinois. As long as none will close in Chicago, I'm fine.

I heard that Applebee's closed in Fort Worth and that's such a shame, isn't it? I don't really like their other restaurants but this one was pretty sweet. Too bad it closed now. Does anyone know when it will reopen again?

It looks like that quite a few Applebee's up and closed. There's information that in Texas they closed temporarily but what about the rest? Does anyone know how many will close in New Jersey? God, I hope it's not permanent if they do.

I'm still not over Applebee's closing last year in Jackson in the St. Johns Town Center. I have been on edge ever since. Are any other Florida Applebee's gonna close? They probably had something planned for 2020 before corona appeared.

Closing due to the spread of COVID-19 which I think it's wise. We have to be careful right now.

I dunno if it closed already but I know that sadly the Applebee's in Cedar Hill in Texas will be closed indefinitely because of this situation all of us have depressingly found ourselves in. Can't wait when it reopens tho'.

What a shame that they have closed in Perry. It was by no means an excellent location but it sure was pretty nice. I found no reason for it to be closed and even permanently at that. Maybe it will reopen someday, who knows.

Looks like that some Applebee's will close permanently rather than temporarily. Just heard the bad news of Applebee's closing their Perry location for good at 100 Valley Dr in Georgia. Very nice place in my opinion. Shame.

How many Applebee's have closed so far? I'm mostly interested in Illinois to be honest.

Gosh this location was such a guilty pleasure of mine. I really loved it and it's such a depressing thing that it's now shuttered. Is there even the slightest chance they might reopen again in the Northgate Mall in San Rafael?

Not to sound cheesy but the Applebee's in Downtown Flushing @ 4022 College Point Blvd was such a great restaurant that I recommended it to everyone I talked with. When did they close? I know that all good things eventually have end.

It seems such a waste that a restaurant or such caliber would close the way it did. I just can't wrap my mind around this closing at all. Did something go wrong? One of the best restaurants in North Carolina by far and the best in Garner.

The Denver Applebee's closed? Get out! Why did they leave the 410 South Colorado Blvd location? This is kinda nuts. Was the restaurant doing that badly so that it was forced to close or what? No way.... I don't believe it.

I had so much love for this Applebee's while it was still open. I miss it dearly every day and I hate that it had to close. Oxford has a hole in this location that only an Applebee's can fill! I accept no replacements.

Fountain Valley misses its Applebee's restaurant dearly... I mean, I do. I miss the restaurant at 18279 Brookhurst Street. Obviously can't speak for everyone here but I would like to believe that most people appreciated my favorite restaurant.

Applebee's shuttered this diner some time ago. I'm wondering lately what happened to the staff. It was the nicest bunch I've ever met that worked in a place like this. Houston's finest for sure. The Applebee's was nice too, I suppose.

To my great dismay I only have now realized that Applebee's in San Marcos on Grand Avenue is shuttered. I know that Applebee's has a polarizing reception with many people having extreme opinions on them but I really liked this restaurant.

Against my better judgement, I always ate at this Applebee's at 4507 Town Center Parkway in Jacksonville. I just couldn't help it. I know it wasn't healthy for me not even one tiny bit but I loved it. I was distraught when it closed.
