Just found out that all three Forever 21 stores in Boston will be closed by the chain because of their bankruptcy. Time to say goodbye to Newbury Street, South Bay Center and Downtown Crossing. This is very upsetting news.

It is genuinely difficult to be a fan of Forever 21 lately considering their behavior. Their stores are looking like a mess. Where are their employees to take care of them? Oh wait - they're getting laid off with no severance! Shameful.

Retail is hard, but my time at Forever 21 has always been mostly enjoyable. So it pains me to say that it has been hard lately to stay positive while working. Seeing great people get laid off does horrible things for morale.
