I appreciated the nice little store in Greensboro quite a lot. It's such a big shame that they have closed. I couldn't believe it at the time but now, with the power of hindsight the reason for the unfortunate closing is clear as day.

Fred's Super Dollar closed here this summer. Quite disappointing. It was a nice store, all things considered. I never had a negative experience here, not even once. That's very much a praiseworthy thing to mention.

I'm pretty sure that the Fred's in Guin, Alabama has closed a few months ago @ 7250 Us-43 but it's possible that maybe they have closed even earlier than that? Maybe in February? All I know is that they are now closed.

I had a hunch that this would happen but nevertheless, I was still really shocked to learn of this. Fred's will close all of their locations after they have filed for bankruptcy this week on Monday. Horrible news, just horrible.

Too bad but this Fred's in Darien Ga will be among the Fred's that will be closing soon. While the situation for the community isn't too dire (there are some grocers nearby), it is very disappointing. In my opinion, this Fred's should stay open.

The Fred's in Monterey TN was my all-time favorite. Lovely store and even lovelier people that work there. I just can't understand why they would close it after being open for only a year though? This is the opposite for progress for Monterey.
