Kirkland's is closing 27 stores immediately (and possibly more during the year) in an attempt to become profitable again. These stores are dead weight.
Ross Twp loss of Kirkland's at the Block Northway
Kirkland's closing their store at the Block Northway this year! I'm deeply disappointed in the chain for making that decision! It's a good store! However, that means nothing now. They will close it by the end of March apparently.

Good pricing helps them - Kirkland's also well managed. They will void the retail slump for now.
