Wow. That is sad. It's been around since I was born, I think. Or at least since I can remember. I have so many memories - Easter fashion shows, cider at Christmas, the Nordstrom Santa.
I never seen so many adult people cry - and they cry over Nordstrom closing in Anchorage. Oh, my...

That's what's the rumor - it kind of makes sense with the rents going through the roof nobody can afford so much space in West LA. We'll see how things play out, I am not sure if there was anyone who got insider info yet.

the only store closed in 2016 was Horton . Nordstrom had other full line in San Diego. meanwhile macys and saks closed stores. Neiman Marcus should be doing closing of stores in 2017 . they are 4.9 bilion in debt on 4. 8 billion in sales. — read more

I know they were cutting staff and reducing hours - some time ago work for Nordstrom's was prestigious and you would be able to work there all your life - not any more - times are changing and more and more people are shopping online
