The Sears Hometown store in Moline will be closing its doors for good sometime this summer. It looks like everything with Sears name in it is doomed to fail these days...

In addition to the list of closing stores Sears published last week, Sears is also closing the store at Pecanland Mall in Monroe. Which means that announcements are far from over. The store will close in early September.

Sears in the Shoppingtown Mall in Dewitt is one of the victims of today's announcement that Sears is closing 72 stores. This is also the only one that has been identified so far.

The Sears Hometown Store in Marquette currently having an everything must go sale that's set to last until July 1, which means it will be closing sooner rather than later. So another one for the ever growing list...

There has been no official announcement, but Sears in Jefferson Mall in Louisville looks to be out as well. There are already plans in place to redo the space, so I don't see how it would stay there.

As of AUG. 18, 2018 the Sears located in the Dover mall, Dover, DE will shut it's doors for good

Towne Mall in Elizabethtown is losing its Sears store. No exact closing date yet, but it looks to be somewhere in late July or early August.

Sears store in Titusville will close sometime next month after nearly fifty years. The closing announcements seem to just keep coming.

Sears store in Meadowood Mall in Reno is also closing. They are currently having a big sale which ends on May 16, so I'm assuming that or somewhere close to it will be the official closing date.

Come August, sears in Wheatfield will close for good. No exact date given yet. At this point I have a feeling it would be easier to track stores that are still open than the ones closing, because they seem to be outnumbering the open ones these days... — read more 

Sears Store #1535 in Plantation, Florida is closing its doors after 40+ years. Last day open to the public is planned to be July 15th, 2018 as stated in the letter handled to all store employees as an advanced notice of facility’s closures.

I just read that the Sears store at Oaks Mall in Gainesville will be closing. Is this one of the recently announced nine stores, or is this in addition to them? Either way, things are looking worse and worse for us.
