Food was always good, service always friendly and store always busy and they closed? Sad to say the least.

Village Inn's owners Bakers Square declared bankruptcy and blames their many closures and the large number of layoffs that have happened recently. I'm very worried about the fate of Village Inn and their restaurants now. What will happen?

Village Inn abruptly closed their location at 2800 Commerce Dr in Coralville. That is unfortunate. It was a good restaurant with decent prices. I could always count on them to serve me some nice meals when I needed them.

A few days ago, Village Inn closed two of their restaurants. Both were in Utah and one was located in North Salt Lake and the other in Roy. Neither were particularly memorable but I liked their Roy restaurant despite its shortcomings.

Just heard from a friend that this was not the only Village Inn in Mesa that had closed recently. The one that was located at 6813 E Main St went dark some weeks ago if I'm not mistaken. It's a shame if you ask me.

Bland food and so-so service on most days but sometimes they would blow my socks off with how great their restaurant can be if they tried a bit harder. Sadly that is no longer an option as they closed two months ago in Hazelwood.

Westminster's, Colorado Village Inn has shuttered a few months ago on 9000 Yukon Street. I don't like when businesses shutter but in this case it was more than justified. There are far better Village Inn restaurants elsewhere.

Village Inn in Mesa closed a few months ago, correct? Man, it feels like it happened yesterday. It was a rather underwhelming restaurant. Not what I usually expect from Village Inn. But it is what it is and the S Stapley Dr location is closed now.

Will any other Village Inn be closing? I hope that they will not be facing any more closures for the rest of this year. 2019 was such a bad year for restaurant businesses. Hope 2020 will be a tad more positive, but you never know.

Their service in this Tucson location was sometimes bad and sometimes good. It varied, but even if you had a bad service their food made up for it. I am mourning the fact that I won't be eating their pecan pie anymore...

This Village Inn store is now permanently closed. Several other VI stores in the Denver area are now closed, so check before you head out to any of them.
