The town still suffers under the tyranny of Godfather's Pizza. Only its namesake remains relevant while the restaurant itself should stay in the past.

While there's still the slightest of chances that Godfather's might return to us in Alberta Lea someday, the 509 E. Main St. location is however sadly lost to us forever. My wife was visibly shaken by those news. I liked that location too.

Watch this play out - Godfather's Pizza is good but they grew way too fast. I do not have any reliable info but knowing west coast, and how they are anti-pizza, I'd want to see what happens here.

But they will add more, I think they will have over 1000 open and so what if they close one or two in 2017
